Fortuna Düsseldorf have announced that Kevin Stöger has left the club as a free agent.
The 26-year-old, whose contract expired at the end of June, is expected to remain in the Bundesliga and has been linked with the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt and Schalke 04.
Fortuna have also confirmed that loan players Kasim Nuhu Adams, Zack Steffen and Mathias 'Zanka' Jørgensen will be returning to Hoffenheim, Manchester City and Fenerbahce respectively.
'Die Flingeraner', who won promotion to the Bundesliga last summer, were relegated following a 3-0 loss to Union Berlin last week.
