Bayern München reserve coach Sebastian Hoeness close to Hoffenheim job

Everything indicates that Sebastian Hoeness will become the new Hoffenheim coach, although there is no deal yet.
Hoffenheim are widely expected to appoint Sebastian Hoeness as their new coach in the near future.

Hoeness, who won the 3. Liga with Bayern München's reserves last season, will probably sign a deal until 2023, with Hoffenheim usually handing out three-year deals, according to Kicker.

One of the reasons why a deal hasn't been agreed yet is that Bayern are yet to find a replacement for Hoeness, as per Kicker, who claims the Bavarians are looking for an external candidate to succeed the 38-year-old, who is the nephew of former FC Bayern president Uli Hoeness.

Hoffenheim have been without a head coach since Alfred Schreuder was relieved of his duties with four games left to play of the 2019/20 season.
