Lucien Favre: Jadon Sancho still has a lot to learn

Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho is far from a finished product, according to BVB head coach Lucien Favre.
Jadon Sancho has emerged as one of the most sought after young players in Europe since joining Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, racking up 34 goals and 43 assists in 99 games for the Bundesliga club.

But although Sancho has clearly developed into an important player for Dortmund, the 20-year-old still has plenty of room for improvement, says head coach Lucien Favre.

"Sancho is obviously a very good player, but he needs to know that he still has a lot to learn," Favre told Der Westen and added:

"He needs to have better control of the ball, to do more headed flick-ons and to improve his defending. He can't just stop running and stand still for 10 minutes and then suddenly do something for the next 10 minutes. This applies to everyone else as well."

Sancho's contract with Dortmund expires in 2023.
