Joachim Löw explains decision to give first call-ups to Baumann, Gosens and Neuhaus
"We decided to go with Oliver Baumann in goal. He has been delivering consistent performances for 10 years now and has experience playing on the international stage," said Löw at a press conference and added:
"We kept a close eye on Robin Gosens last year already. He played extremely well this past season and has earned his call-up.
"Florian Neuhaus is a very intelligent player and has proven himself with our U21s already. As a result, he has earned his place in the squad."
