Bayer Leverkusen forward Kevin Volland is said to be nearing a move to AS Monaco.
Kevin Volland is on the verge of joining AS Monaco from Bayer Leverkusen, according to Bild.

According to Bild, the parties are in advanced negotiations and are edging closer to an agreement that would see Monaco sign the 28-year-old for €25 million.

Meanwhile, Kicker is reporting that Leverkusen would like to bring 19-year-old Benoit Badiashile in the other direction.

According to reports from France, Monaco turned down an offer of €25 million from Manchester United for the highly-rated centre-back earlier this week.

Monaco has been linked with numerous players from the Bundesliga since former Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Bayern coach Niko Kovac took over the reins at the French Ligue 1 club back in July.

Volland, who has just year left on his contract, joined Leverkusen from Hoffenheim in 2016.

Since then, he has gone on to make 148 appearances for 'Die Werkself', racking up 50 goals and 32 assists.
