Premier League trio battling to sign Robin Koch from Freiburg

Robin Koch, who wants to leave Freiburg, currently looks most likely to make the move to England. Leeds, Newcastle and an unnamed Premier League club are understood to be interested in the 24-year-old.
England is the most probable destination for Freiburg's Robin Koch, who has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, according to Kicker.

In addition to Leeds United and Newcastle United, at least one other club from the Premier League are said to be in the race for the signature of the versatile German international.

Koch has also been touted for a move to Italy, with Lazio understood to be among the Serie A clubs keeping tabs on him. However, when asked about the speculation, Lazio boss Igli Tare told Kicker that "there are no talks at the moment".

The 24-year-old, who has publicly said he wants to leave with one year left on his contract, has previously rejected a move to Benfica, according to reports.

He has made a total of 87 appearances for Freiburg with five goals and two assists to his name.
