Robin Koch has left SC Freiburg to join newly-promoted Premier League side Leeds United.

The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with his new club.

“Robin has developed tremendously with us these past three years. He has never let himself be distracted by things off the pitch and it has been a pleasure to work with him both as a player and as a person,” said Freiburg chief Jochen Saier in a statement.

"His contract was due to run out in ten months, therefore we feel this move to the Premier League is a good solution for all involved. We wish Robin every success at Leeds United," he continued.

Koch spent three seasons at Freiburg, making 87 appearances with five goals and two assists to his name.
