Report: Dortmund turned down an offer from Manchester United for Nico Schulz

Apparently, Manchester United wanted to sign Nico Schulz on loan from Borussia Dortmund shortly before the transfer window closed.
Borussia Dortmund turned down an offer from Manchester United for Nico Schulz on deadline day, according to ESPN.

The report claims that 'The Red Devils' were willing to offer €1 million and pay Schulz's full salary to take him on loan for the remainder of the season.

But Dortmund rejected the offer, because they didn't have enough time to find a suitable replacement for the 27-year-old.

Schulz has struggled to nail down a starting berth after his €25.5 million move from Hoffenheim in 2019. So far, he has been limited to just 20 appearances in a Dortmund shirt.
