Milot Rashica to join Leverkusen in January?

After his deadline day move from Werder Bremen to Bayer Leverkusen collapsed in the eleventh hour, Milot Rashica could complete his switch to BayArena in January instead.
Shortly before the transfer window closed last week, Bayer Leverkusen made a late move to sign Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen.

Rashica was ready to join 'Die Werkself' on loan until the end of the season, but the transfer broke down at the last moment because the two couldn't agree on the conditions of the purchase option that was supposed to be included in the deal.

However, the 24-year-old could still get the move he desires, according to Sport Bild, who claims the deal is likely to go through after the transfer window opens again on January 2.

At BayArena, Rashica could be reunited with Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz, whom he played under at Dutch side Vitesse in the past.

The Kosovo international's contract with Werder expires in 2022.
