Bayern coach Hansi Flick gives injury update on Davies and Kimmich

Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich are both making good progress in their recovery from injury.
Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has provided updates on Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich ahead of his team's top-of-the-table clash with RB Leipzig on Saturday.

"Alphonso Davies trained with the team, but will not be an option for tomorrow. We need to wait and see how the session affects him," said Flick and added that Davies could potentially make his return in the Champions League against Lokomotiv Moscow on Wednesday.

With regard to Kimmich, who is working on his recovery from a knee injury, Flick said:

"If it were up to him, he'd be playing 60 minutes tomorrow. We don't want to rush things though. The way he is training, day to day, is just lovely to see."

Bayern will also be without Corentin Tolisso for their clash with RB Leipzig, Flick confirmed.
