'Kingsley Coman is not for sale,' underlines Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Bayern München want to keep Kingsley Coman long-term.
Kingsley Coman has previously been linked with a move away from Bayern München, but the German champions have no intention of letting him go.

"Kingsley is not for sale," club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Kicker about the 24-year-old, who is still under contract until the summer of 2023.

"We will deal with a possible contract extension at the appropriate time," said the Bayern boss.

Having been involved in nine goals in his last five appearances for the club, Coman has received plenty of praise lately.

"He implements our ideas very well, and he is currently involved in a lot of goals. That's why I think he's one of the best players in his position," Bayern coach Hansi Flick told Kicker in the wake of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Union Berlin, which saw the French winger provide the assist for Robert Lewandowski's goal.
