Exequiel Palacios on track to return from injury in January
Exequiel Palacios is expected to make his return to training next month.
Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Exequiel Palacios could be back from injury sooner than expected.
The 22-year-old, who has been out with a back injury since November, is on track for a return to team training in the middle of January.
"'Pala' is doing very well. We hope that he will be able to train with the team again in mid-January," Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told Bild.
Palacios has made six appearances for 'Die Werkself' this season, nothing up an assist.
