Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Union Berlin centre-back Marvin Friedrich, according to Kicker.

'Die Werkself' are considering bringing in a new centre-back, with Tin Jedvaj and Aleksandar Dragovic both likely to depart BayArena at the end of the season.

Friedrich is under contract until 2022, so unless he signs a new deal, Union might want to cash in on him this summer.

The 25-year-old's sister Melissa already plays for Leverkusen. He has scored four goals in 26 games for Union Berlin this season.
