Hertha youngster Luca Netz ruled out for the season
Luca Netz is set for surgery on a foot injury and will miss the rest of the season.
Hertha BSC have been rocked by the news that Luca Netz has sustained a serious injury in training.
The 17-year-old, who has made his breakthrough into Hertha's senior side this season, has been ruled out for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign due to a broken foot.
"This is of course a pity for Luca, because he has already developed well with us at the age of 17 and has also shown good performances," said Hertha coach Pal Dardai.
"But he is still young, is always positive and will overcome this. We will support him where we can so that he can be back on the pitch soon."
Netz has made 11 Bundesliga appearances this season.
