Wolfsburg playmaker appears on Bayern's transfer target list

Bayern already possess striking talents in the midfield position with the likes of Gnabry, Sane, Coman and Costa.
Bayern have long been on the transfer market eyeing for potential signings – having already been linked with Reading’s Michael Olise, Borussia Monchegladbach’s Neuhaus and even Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez.

Now, Wolfsburg playmaker Maximillian Arnold is being eyed by the Bavarian giants after impressing this season in Lower Saxony, according to a report by TransferMarketWeb.

The 26-year-old has a market value of €19m, according to transfermarkt, and will come comparatively cheap than other targets.

The versatile midfielder is capable of covering various positions in the center half of the field, sometimes even appearing as a defensive midfielder in Oliver Glasner’s eleven.

His contract at Wolfsburg lasts until 2026 and he has been a one-club man so far, which means Bayern will have some tough negotiating to do before striking a potential deal.

In 30 matches across all competitions this season, he has scored 3 goals and assisted five – registering more than 2,500 playing minutes
