Werder's new winger: 'I'm looking forward to this new challenge'

Milot Rashica is excited to have signed a contract with Werder Bremen.
Werder Bremen have signed the talented Kosovian winger Milot Rashica from Vitesse Arnhem, the club has confirmed.

The 21-year-old says he's excited to have signed for the club.

"I am really happy to be at such a big Bundesliga club with so much tradition and I am looking forward to this new challenge," he told Werder Bremen's website.

"A move to Werder is a really big step for me. I am convinced that we will be able to get out of the situation we are in quickly and I will be able to continue to develop a lot personally here," he added.

Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt feels that Rashica can make an instant impact.

"He is a player with great potential and someone who can strengthen us straight away. He is great in one-on-one situations, he gets in behind the defence with his pace and gives us a lot of versatility in our squad with his quality," he told Werder's website.

Rashica has appeared 27 times, scored three goals and made five assists for Vitesse this season.
