Toni Kroos 'will be ready' for the Euros despite coronavirus infection

Real Madrid star Toni Kroos is confident he will be fully fit for the Euros after recently testing positive for coronavirus.
Toni Kroos is certain he will be fit and ready to play at Euro 2020 despite currently being sidelined with coronavirus.

"Of course I will be ready. I can say that much already," underlined the German international during the podcast 'Einfach mal Luppen'.

Kroos, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, added:

"If everything is fine again after 10 days, I can arrive as scheduled. If it takes two or three days longer, then so be it."

Germany face Denmark (2 June) and Latvia (7 June) in friendlies before kicking off the tournament against reigning World Champions France on Tuesday 15th June.
