Report: Hoffenheim set for cash windfall with Kobel's Dortmund move imminent
Kicker claims Hoffenheim will receive around €2.2 million as part of Gregor Kobel's expected move to Borussia Dortmund from VfB Stuttgart.
Hoffenheim are entitled to a part of the transfer fee VfB Stuttgart receive for the sale of Gregor Kobel to Borussia Dortmund, according to Kicker.
It should only be a matter of time before Borussia Dortmund will confirm the signing of Kobel for a reported €15 million.
When the transfer goes through, Hoffenheim will receive €2.2 million of the total fee due to a sell-on clause, according to Kicker.
Kobel came through the youth ranks at Hoffenheim, where he was on the books until 2020, at which point he joined Stuttgart on a permanent basis.
