Alcacer and Delaney ruled out of Dortmund's Champions League opener

Paco Alcacer and Thomas Delaney will miss Borussia Dortmund's game against Club Brugge on Tuesday.
Bad news for Borussia Dortmund before the Champions League opener against Club Brugge on Tuesday: Paco Alcacer will not fly to Belgium with the rest of the team today, various German media outlets report.

The Barcelona loanee, who scored his first goal for the BVB in the 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last Friday, is suffering from a muscle injury.

Thomas Delaney has also been ruled out due to a minor injury, Borussia Dortmund have confirmed.

On the positive side for Dortmund, Christian Pulisic will travel with the team according to Funke Sport. The American winger has missed the past two Bundesliga games because of muscular problems.

The game will be played on Tuesday at 21:00 (UTC+2).
