UCL Fantasy tips: Bundesliga bargains you should consider

We have taken a look at the official UCL Fantasy game and found a handful of cheap Bundesliga players.
In this article, we focus on some of the Bundesliga bargains that you should consider bringing into your UEFA Champions League Fantasy team. Obviously, stars such as Joshua Kimmich, Robert Lewandowski and Marco Reus are always worth considering, but rather than looking at the usual suspects, we have tried identifying the cheaper gems.

Ralf Fährmann (€4,5 million), Schalke 04 - goalkeeper
After a very impressive 2017/18 campaign that saw Schalke take the Bundesliga 2nd place, 'The Royal Blues' have started the new season in a disappointing fashion, losing their three opening Bundesliga games. Still, Schalke are a team with a lot of quality, and in a fairly even group with FC Porto, Lokomotiv and Galatasaray, it could definitely be worth looking at some players from the Gelsenkirchen side.

Schalke have let in two goals in each of their Bundesliga games so far this season, but a solid defense was one of the keys to the team's success last season. Priced at just €4,5 million, Schalke keeper Ralf Fährmann - the team's captain and a player always certain to start - is certainly worth considering.

Salif Sané (€4,5 million) and Naldo (€5 million), Schalke 04 - defenders
Sané and Naldo are both viable options as they are not only solid defenders, but also big goal threats at the other end. Naldo, who even takes direct free-kicks at times, scored seven goals (!) for Schalke last season while Sané netted four times while playing for Hannover 96 in the 2017/18 season.

Abdou Diallo and Manuel Akanji (both €4,5 million), Borussia Dortmund - defenders
Abdou Diallo and Manuel Akanji have been paired in Dortmund's central defense so far this season, and priced at just €4,5 million each, they are definitely good options.

Jadon Sancho (€5 million), Borussia Dortmund - midfielder
The youngster has come on as a substitute in all of Dortmund's Bundesliga games this season and has looked very impressive, contributing with three assists in three games. He isn't certain to play every time, but is a likely starter on Tuesday and has shown that he can be an impact sub. Jacob Bruun Larsen - also priced at €5 million - started against Frankfurt last Friday after scoring four goals in a friendly against Osnabrück and is also worth looking at.

Serge Gnabry (€5,5 million), Bayern München - midfielder
Still needs to find his feet at Bayern München after returning from his very impressive loan spell at Hoffenheim, but priced at just €5,5 million, he is worth keeping an eye out for. Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben can't play every game, and with Kingsley Coman out with a long-term injury, Gnabry could get to play a lot.

Mark Uth (€7 million), Schalke 04 - striker
Looking further up the pitch, Mark Uth could provide value for money. The 27-year-old striker, who has joined Schalke after a very good season at Hoffenheim, hasn't scored for his new club yet, but he has looked promising, and it's certainly only a question of time before he will start hitting the back of the net again.

Adam Szalai (€6 million), Hoffenheim - striker
The big striker has been Hoffenheim's main goal threat so far this season and has scored three goals in three Bundesliga appearances.
