Bayern boss: We will run out of players if we aren't given more protection

Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the Bavarians will run out of fit players if they don't get more protection.
After just three games of the season, Bayern München have lost Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso and Rafinha to injuries.

Now, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge calls for more protection from the German Football Association and the referees.

"What we do not like is the way that teams play against us. That is something that has to be sorted out," Rummenigge told Kicker and added:

"The DFB and especially the referees need to protect the players. Otherwise, we will not get eleven players on the pitch for matchday 10. I'd like to remind everyone: We have a lot of internationals, and they'll be playing in important competitions soon."

Both Kingsley Coman and Corentin Tolisso will be sidelined for months while Rafinha is expected to be out for some weeks.
