Arminia Bielefeld confirm Krüger signing

Florian Krüger has signed for Arminia Bielefeld.
Arminia Bielefeld have completed the signing of Florian Krüger from 2. Bundesliga outfit FC Erzgebirge Aue.

The 22-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a contract until 2025 with the Bundesliga side.

"The people in charge made a lot of effort to find me and showed me that they really wanted me," said Krüger.

"The talks were very open and honest right from the start, and we were quickly on the same wavelength. I'm glad to be given the chance to take my first steps in the Bundesliga here. This is exactly the right step for me now. I'm really looking forward to it.

"When the fans are in the stadium, the atmosphere at the SchücoArena is amazing - I'm really looking forward to that, too."

Bielefeld have paid a reported €1 million to sign Krüger, who scored 11 goals in 34 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga last season.
