Report: Bayern looking to offload young striker

Bayern München are looking to offload young Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer.
The report comes from sport.de who says that Bayern see no future for Zirkzee in new head coach Julian Nagelsmann's plans, especially after Cameroonian forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting extended his contract with the Bavarian giants.

The 20-year-old striker spent the 2nd half of last season on loan at Serie A side Parma but found game time hard to come as he only made 4 appearances for the side who finished bottom of Serie A last season.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern have received an offer from Swiss side FC Basel for the forward. However, also from Sky Germany, Zirkzee wishes to continue his career in the Bundesliga rather than elsewhere and is currently assessing his options.

The Dutchman as well as 2 others (Mickael Cuisance and Adrian Fein) who were away from Bayern on loan last season (Cuisance at Marseille, Fein at PSV) are said to be on Nagelsmann's unwanted list, and Bayern would prefer to see the players leave the club permanently rather on another temporary basis.
