Augsburg announce Dorsch signing
Niklas Dorsch has completed his move to Augsburg.
FC Augsburg have completed the signing of Niklas Dorsch from Belgian side KAA Gent.
The 23-year-old German midfielder has signed a five-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
"It was impressive how much time the club invested in me. The fit was right from the start, which gave me a really good feeling. Overall, the total package offered by FCA, including the sporting perspective, was key for me. I am really looking forward to joining FCA and playing in the Bundesliga," said Dorsch.
Augsburg sporting director Stefan Reuter commented:
"We're pleased that Niklas has chosen FCA despite interest from several other clubs, including those playing in Europe. We laid out the path we envision for him at our club over the coming years. His talents on the pitch and his mentality exemplify the FCA DNA that we want our team to have."
