Hainer: Lewandowski will definitely spend the next two years at Bayern

Robert Lewandowski will stay at Bayern München for at least another two seasons, according to club president Herbert Hainer.
Bayern München president Herbert Hainer has made it clear that Robert Lewandowski will fulfill his contract, which expires in 2023.

Asked about reports that Chelsea are interested in the 32-year-old Polish star striker, Hainer told Goal and Spox:

"In my opinion, Lewandowski is the best striker in the world. We are very happy to have him in our team.

"His contract still runs for two years, during which time he will definitely play for FC Bayern.

"I said some time ago that I can very well imagine having him in the squad beyond that. In any case, he will definitely stay with us for the next two seasons."

Lewandowski has found the net 294 times in 329 games for Bayern.
