Gulacsi outlines title ambitions

RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has spoken of his desire to win a title with 'Die Roten Bullen'.
Peter Gulacsi has outlined his ambitions to win a major trophy with RB Leipzig.

"I'm now entering a phase in my career, where I want to win a title. We've been close several times," said the 31-year-old goalkeeper in an interview with the Leipziger Volkszeitung.

"I'm in my prime years as a goalkeeper, I'm in top shape and still have a lot to do. Other keepers my age have already played 10 or 11 seasons in a top league. I'm only going into my sixth season. I've been a late bloomer."

Gulacsi and Leipzig came close to clinching the DFB-Pokal trophy last season, but fell to a 1-4 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the final.

The former Liverpool goalkeeper extended his contract with 'Die Roten Bullen' until 2025 back in May.
