Kicker Report: VfL Bochum snag Wolfsburg's Rexhbecaj on loan for the season
German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Elvis Rexhbecaj's next destination is the newly promoted VfL Bochum.
Wolfsburg native Elvis Rexhbecaj, recently returned from an extended loan spell with 1. FC Köln, is apparently headed back out on loan again. Germany's preeminent footballing publication confirms that the attacking midfielder will spend the season in Bochum.
The 23-year-old German Kosovar completed a successful 18-month-stint with die Geißböcke, garnering four assists in the second half of the 2019/20 campaign and adding another five goals and two assists in his full 2020/21 campaign in the cathedral city.
Rexhbecaj's demonstrated potential piqued interest in plenty of clubs abroad, but Kicker reports that the youngster personally opted to remain in the Bundesliga.
