Glasner confirms Younes is heading for the exit door at Frankfurt

Amin Younes could leave Eintracht Frankfurt before the end of the week, according to the club's coach, Oliver Glasner.
Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Amin Younes is expected to leave the club before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Glasner addressed reports that Amin Younes is close to a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab FC.

"It's quite conceivable that an agreement will be reached in the next few days," said Glasner.

"He has clearly expressed his desire to leave. Otherwise, no one has come to me and said that don't want to play for Eintracht anymore."

Back in October 2020, the 28-year-old joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Napoli on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy of a reported €2 million.

Kicker has reported that Frankfurt want to activate the purchase option before selling Younes to Al Shabab for around €4 million.
