Confirmed: Kalajdzic out for two months

Journalist George Moissidis of German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Sasa Kalajdzic's dislocated shoulder will sideline the Stuttgart striker for at least two months.
An MRI on Saturday revealed that the shoulder injury that saw VfB Stuttgart target-man Sasa Kalajdzic stretchered off in the waning stages of Friday's loss to Leipzig was of a very serious nature indeed. Kicker's George Moissidis spoke to club sporting director Sven Mislintat to confirm that the Austrian striker will miss at least two months.

Whether or not Kalajdzic will actually go under the knife has not yet been clarified. One thing that seems for certain, given the finishing issues demonstrated by Hamadi Al Ghaddioui and another long-term injury to prospect Mohamed Sankoh, is that Stuttgart will be in the market for a new striker.

"Perhaps the market will present an opportunity that fits into our budget," Mislintat told Moissidis, "but everything really has to fit there."
