After Hudson-Odoi deal falls through, Zorc says Dortmund will not seek another winger

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Sky Germany that his club would not actively be seeking another winger after a loan deal for Chelsea FC's Callum Hudson-Odoi fell through.
As the transfer deadline approaches, Germany's Schwarzgelben are apparently done with squad additions. Sporting director Michael Zorc told Sky Germany that Marin Pongracic's procurement "completes the defense". Moreover, the club's top personnel executive told the German broadcaster that there would be no subsequent attempts to seek out another attacker after the Callum Hudson-Odoi loan fell through.

Zorc left open the possibility that there might still be some departures. All the same, the 59-year-old indicated that he might be calling it an early night.

"The cell phone is on, but the clock is slowly ticking down," Zorc noted, "In terms of additions, nothing more will happen. In some smaller countries, the transfer window is still open. There's a purely theoretical possibility that something will still happen in the next few days. At present, there is currently nothing on the table for us to talk about."
