Mitchell Weiser heading to Bremen?
Bayer Leverkusen right-back Mitchell Weiser is apparently heading to Werder Bremen on loan.
Werder Bremen are set to sign Mitchell Weiser on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Germany.
Bremen-based media outlet Deichstube first reported of the 2. Bundesliga outfit's interest in the 27-year-old, who has also been linked with a return to Hertha BSC.
In an interview with Kicker, Weiser recently made it clear that he would like to leave 'Die Werkself' this summer.
"I want to feel happy at a club again, and I can only do that if I have the opportunity to play. When it's no longer my performances that decide whether I play, it's time to go," said the 27-year-old.
"For both sides, it's certainly best to end the chapter."
