UEFA Nations League knockout stage and play-off draw: Germany learn opponents

Germany will play Italy in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League in March 2025 following Friday's draw.

Following the conclusion of the group stage earlier this week, the draw for the knockout and play-off stages of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League was made on Friday.

Germany qualified for the quarter-finals by finishing top of Group A3, knowing they would be drawn against one of the second-placed teams from the other groups in League A.

As a result of Friday's draw, Julian Nagelsmann's side will face Italy, with the two games set to take place in March 2025.

UEFA Nations League quarter-finals draw:

Netherlands vs.Spain
Croatia vs. France
Denmark vs. Portugal
Italy vs. Germany

Should Germany progress, they will play the winner of the game between Denmark and Portugal in the semi-finals, while Netherlands/Spain will face Croatia/France in the next round. 

There were also draws for the League A/B play-offs, League B/C play-offs and League C/D play-offs, with the results below.
