After 18 largely disappointing months in Germany's Fuggerstadt, FC Augsburg are reportedly looking to offload Croatian striker Deion Drena Beljo. The 22-year-old has netted only five Bundesliga goals in 44 top flight deployments. The 2023/24 Bundesliga campaign mostly saw him work off the bench, notching two tallies in 26 Bundesliga appearances. The attacker Augsburg once paid €3 million for remains under contract through 2027.
Austria's "Kurier" newspaper reports that Beljo's German club is presently in the midst of negotiations with SK Rapid Wien over a loan out. Beljo will head to Vienna to play in the Austrian Bundesliga for the upcoming season. The Austrian paper reports that the two sides are reportedly working on a purchase option. The center-forward maintains an estimated market worth of €4 million in the latest transfermarkt update.
