Linked with a potential move to Manchester United, Swiss teenage attacking talent Winsley Boteli has first been given a contract extension with his German club Borussia Mönchengladbach. It remains to be seen as to whether the foals will loan the 18-year-old out. Boteli scored 21 goals for the BMG U19s this past season. Gladbach made clear that his current place with the Westphalians next year would be with the U23s.

"Winsley has drawn attention to himself and had offers from several top international clubs," BMG youth director Mirko Sanmöller noted in a club statement, We are all the more pleased that he has decided to join Borussia. He is a striker with an outstanding goal-scoring instinct and a strong finish, who we now want to develop further in the senior squad."
