Rüdiger laments Germany's lack of efficiency against Denmark
After Germany's win over Denmark, Antonio Rüdiger bemoaned his side's lack of ruthlessness in front of goal.
Germany booked their place in the quarter-finals of the European Championship with a dramatic 2-0 win over Denmark on Saturday.
Antonio Rüdiger was delighted with the win, but believes Germany need to improve when it comes to taking their chances.
"It feels very good. We were dominant from the start, the only thing we can criticise is that we didn't finish the game sooner. We missed too many chances," said Rüdiger in a post-match interview.
"It wasn't easy, of course, but this team shows good character, that we can come back against all kinds of adversity and always put our foot on the gas. We still have three finals to go. We'll take it as it comes.
Rüdiger and Germany will now face either Spain or Georgia in the quarter-finals.
