With just around three months left on his current contract at Bayern Munich, it remains unclear whether Leroy Sané will remain at the club beyond the summer.

Recent reports have linked the former Manchester City winger with a return to the English Premier League.

However, Sané himself remains hopeful that it will be possible to agree a new deal with the Bavarians.

"Yes," he replied when asked by Sky Germany if he would like to stay at Bayern following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Union Berlin.

“I've already made my opinion clear. We'll see how it goes, and (FC Bayern board member for sport) Max Eberl has already said all there is to say about it.”

Sané came on to score Bayern's only goal in their draw in the German capital on Saturday.
