Sky Germany are aware that Jamal Musiala will at least sit out on Bayern Munich's upcoming game with Bayer Leverkusen this Saturday.

However, the report confirmed that Musiala hasn't suffered a new injury, and rather a stress reaction in his ankle joint.

Earlier today, Bayern's director of sport Max Eberl confirmed that Musiala's situation was nothing to worry about

For now, it is expected he will take a break and then his appearances will continue to be dosed accordingly in the coming weeks.

Musiala played his first full game of the season last weekend, scoring a goal in a 4-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Only yesterday, the 23-year-old featured for 45 minutes and scored again during a 6-1 rout of Champions League last-16 opponents Atalanta.

Having just recovered from a broken fibula sustained at the Club World Cup last July, Bayern will be keen to avoid overplaying him.
