Report: Hoffenheim close to securing services of American talent Justin Che

German broadcaster Sport1 currently reports that TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are close to securing a loan term for FC Dallas defender and former FC Bayern München campus sojourner Justin Che.
Eighteen-year-old American defender Justin Ché's stay at the FC Bayern Youth Academy Campus was regrettably cut short last summer after FCB II's relegation to the German fourth tier. Seeing no prospects for the talented teenager in the Bavarian Regionalliga, the German giants opted to send the €3 million-valued player back to his parent club in MLS.

Since then, Bayern have maintained interest in Ché. In point of fact, German broadcaster Sport1 reports that the FCB actively engaged in negotiations to bring him back to Bavaria during the current January transfer window. The same source claims that clubs from England and the Netherlands were also interested.

The sticking appoint appeared to be the loan fee. FC Dallas are comfortable loaning the teenager out to Europe for one of the long 18-month-terms, but wish to receive adequate compensation. Sport1 reports that TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are prepared to offer such compensation. The German media source notes that an 18-month-long loan replete with fees, bonuses, and a purchase clause is very close to officially getting over the line.
