Roma eye loan move for Weigl

Julian Weigl could leave Borussia Dortmund in January with AS Roma said to be interested in taking the midfielder on loan.
Since Lucien Favre took over as Borussia Dortmund coach, Julian Weigl has made just six appearances for the BVB. Now the midfielder is planning a 'winter escape' in the search for more first team action, Bild reports.

According to the German media outlet, AS Roma are interested in bringing the midfielder to Italy in January on a one-and-a-half year loan deal.

Bild has previously reported that Arsenal are also keeping an eye on the 23-year-old.

Weigl has made 133 appearances for Dortmund since joining the club for €2,5 million from 1860 München in 2015. His contract runs out in 2021.
