Have AS Roma renewed their interest in Leon Bailey?

Apparently, AS Roma have reignited their interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey.
In the summer of 2018, AS Roma were said to be willing to pay €40 million for Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey, but he ultimately stayed at BayArena.

Now, with the summer transfer window around the corner, the Italian club have renewed their interest in the 21-year-old, according to Sport Bild.

Reportedly, Roma have stayed in contact with Bailey's stepfather and agent, Craig Butler, and concrete talks over a potential summer move are currently underway.

Bailey slipped down the pecking order at BayArena during the first half of the season under Heiko Herrlich, but has played regularly since Peter Bosz took over the job as head coach at the end of December.

Inter are also said to be interested in the 21-year-old who just extended his contract with Leverkusen until 2023 last year. He has made 38 appearances this season with five goals and five assists to his name.
