Lewandowski praises Leroy Sané: 'He's a super player!'
Robert Lewandowski waxes lyrical about Leroy Sané.
Robert Lewandowski has lauded praise on Leroy Sané following the rumors that Bayern München are interested in the Manchester City winger.
"He's a super player with great qualities and great potential. He's a player who can bring us straight forward and improve the team," Lewandowski told Bild and continued:
"If someone comes, he has to be able to make us better with his quality right away. You don't have time to let someone develop for two years here. You have to raise the quality of the team from the first game."
In Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez, Bayern have already made two top-quality signings ahead of the 2019/20 season, but Lewandowski feels confident there's more to come from the Bavarians.
"The transfer window isn't closed yet. We've already brought in two players, and I know there's something coming up. That's for sure. Bayern haven't said the last word in regard to transfers," he said.
In addition to Leroy Sané, Bayern have recently been linked with RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and Atlético Madrid's Rodri.
