Sheffield United have played down rumors suggesting the club are showing an interest in landing Franck Ribery on a free transfer when his contract with Bayern München runs out at the end of the month.
Kicker are reporting that Sheffield United want the French veteran, but the newly-promoted Premier League side have now told Sky that they will not be signing the 36-year-old.
Ribery has also attracted interest from Qatar and Australia, but he's aiming for a move to a European top club, as per Kicker.
