BVB boss Michael Zorc underlines desire to keep Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is fully expected to stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond the winter transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has once again underlined that Jadon Sancho isn't expected to leave the club in January.

Sancho has been linked with a winter exit, with reports claiming that he's growing increasingly unsatisfied at Signal Iduna Park, but Zorc insists there are no plans to let him go.

"That isn't planned in any way," he told Kicker when asked if a Januar transfer could be on the cards for the 19-year-old.

"We continue to have him in our plans. He's a very important player. I don't see any scenario of him leaving us," Zorc said in an interview with Sky before Dortmund's 5-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday that saw Sancho score a brace.

Sport Bild reported on Wednesday that neither Sancho nor Dortmund want a January transfer to happen, and Kicker now claims that there is a 'zero percent' chance that the 19-year-old will leave in the winter.

Sancho's contract with Dortmund runs until 2022.
