Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski will stay beyond the summer, telling Bild:

"Of course he'll stay. Who sells a player, who scores 60 goals a year?"

Rummenigge also denied that Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, has approached the club about a potential move for his client.

"He didn't ask. He knows exactly how things tick at FC Bayern. When the transfer market opens on July 1, there will be thousands of rumors, and some of them will involve FC Bayern. The important thing is that the facts are always on FC Bayern's side," said Rummenigge.

Lewandowski, 32, is under contract until 2023.
