Martin Terrier has missed the last two games for Bayer Leverkusen due to a muscle injury.

And as Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso confirmed on Friday, the Frenchman will also be unavailable for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Bochum.

"He will not be in the squad," Alonso confirmed before adding that Leverkusen have no new injury concerns.

“[Terrier] is feeling much better, but still not perfect. We'd like to give him some more time during the international break. We're being a bit cautious."

With the Frenchman ruled out, Jonas Hofmann is likely to get a chance in attacking midfield alongside Florian Wirtz.

In addition to Terrier, Amine Adli (broken leg), Jeanuel Belocian (foot) and Nordi Mukiele (thigh) are out for the German champions.
