Sancho closes in on David Beckham's assist record in Europe
Jadon Sancho has been one of Bundesliga’s best young talents in recent seasons, since appearing on the scene couple of years ago.
His tally of assists grew to 11 after his match winning contribution.
With the brace of assists, the England international reached a landmark feat of 10 assists in three consecutive Bundesliga seasons that puts him within reach of one of his own country’s greatest players.
David Beckham is the only previous English player in Europe’s top five leagues to reach ten or more assists in four consecutive seasons – for Manchester United – between 1997/98 and 2000/01.
