FC Köln have agreed personal terms with Mark Uth over a move from Schalke 04 this summer.

"There is an agreement between FC, Mark Uth and his management," said FC Köln sporting director Jörg Jakobs on Thursday.

However, there are "still some things to be clarified" between Köln and Schalke, where Uth is under contract until 2022.

According to reports, 'The Billy Goats' are hoping to sign the 29-year-old forward on a free transfer.

It's further claimed that Uth is willing to take a pay cut to join Köln, but is demanding a compensation payment of €500.000 from Schalke 04.

Uth spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan at FC Köln. Last season, he found the net three times in 20 Bundesliga games for Schalke.
