The search for a suitable buyer for Julien Duranville has been difficult recently, but now everything seems to point to FC Basel.

According to Sky Germany, the Swiss club is very interested in a six-month deal for the Borussia Dortmund winger.

Negotiations are in full swing but are not yet finalized. BVB would like the Belgian to gain experience elsewhere for the second half of the season.

Duranville, who has already been loosely linked with RSC Anderlecht and FC Sevilla, is unlikely to be the obstacle to the transfer.

According to the pay-TV channel, the dribbler wants to join the current fourth-placed team in the Swiss Super League.

The deal will likely not be finalized over the weekend, according to local media source Ruhr Nachrichten.

Duranville will return to the BVB squad for the first time since November for the match against FC St. Pauli today at 15:30 CET.
