Bayern Munich goalkeeper Alexander Nübel’s proposed move to Turkish side Besiktas is nearing completion.
According to Bild, the final hurdle was cleared last night after Bayern and the German shot-stopper reached an agreement over a severance package.
Nübel demanded the payment in order to waive the lucrative salary he would have been entitled to until 2029 under his current contract.
The two clubs have reportedly agreed a €6.5 million transfer fee, with a further €5 million in potential add-ons. Nübel’s medical is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Nübel joined Bayern in 2020 but has spent the majority of his time away from the club on loan, featuring for Monaco for two seasons before spending the last three years at Stuttgart.
