Having made his breakthrough into Borussia Mönchengladbach's first team at just 17, Wael Mohya has seemingly caught the attention of a host of other clubs.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig are all keeping tabs on the youngster's situation, according to Sky Germany.

While a winter transfer is currently considered unlikely, a move next summer can't be completely ruled out.

The striker's current contract runs until 2028, but Gladbach want to tie the talented attacking attacking midfielder to the club for the long term and are preparing a salary adjustment as part of that effort.

Discussions between the club, the player's representatives and his agents are already said to be underway.

Avoiding relegation would be a prerequisite for Gladbach to keep Mohya, with the club currently sitting bottom of the Bundesliga table.

The 17-year-old most recently helped his team earn their first points of the season, scoring and assisting in their 3-2 win over VfB Stuttgart on Friday.
